OHM II Belay Device

The second generation of this special device, designed to be attached to the first, strong, fixed point of the belay chain, is now easier to use than ever, thanks to numerous updates. It is recommended for use when there is a significant weight difference between the belayer and the lead climber. During a fall, the rope friction increases, allowing a lighter belayer to hold a much heavier lead climber. Once the load is released, the rope runs freely again. The OHM II does not hinder the smooth feeding of the rope during climbing and belaying and has no negative impact on handling. The locking system prevents the device from accidentally opening and makes it much easier to insert the rope and remove the device during descent. The swivel improves the freedom of movement of the rope within the device. It is well-suited for use in climbing gyms as well as on outdoor sport climbing routes.
